Beschrijving

The Golet de la Biche1, or Col de la Biche, is located in the south of the Jura massif in the department of Ain, in the Grand Colombier mountains, at an altitude of 1,310 meters.

Located north of the Col du Grand Colombier, the Golet de la Biche is less known than its counterpart, but still has a steep slope: an average gradient of 7.7% with a slope approaching 10% from the start of Gignez (municipality of Corbonod). The gradient reaches 12% at the beginning of the fourth kilometer.

The 2017 Tour de France used it in the stage hors catégorie Nantua – Chambéry, with Slovenian Primož Roglič taking the lead at the summit. It featured on stage 15 of the 2020 Tour de France, classified as a 1st category stage; Frenchman Pierre Rolland emerged victorious. Wikipedia
