Beschrijving

The Col du Sabot is a pass at an altitude of 2,100 meters in the Grandes Rousses massif. Its altitude makes it the highest pass in Isère, but it is not considered a true road pass, as there is only a passable road on the southwest side of the pass.

As a dead-end road, the Col du Sabot has never been the finish line of a major cycling event. However, there have been finishes in the village of Vaujany (a village a third of the way up the climb), for example during the 2016 Critérium du Dauphiné.Wikipedia
