Col de l’Iseran – Bonneval sur Arc
Beschrijving
Part of the departmental road D902, the Col de l’Iseran is, at 2,770 m, the highest paved mountain pass in the Alps and Europe. Although the road to the Cime de la Bonette is 32 metres higher at 2,802 metres, it is not a pass road.
The Col de l’Iseran is well known from the Tour de France cycling race. After the Cime de la Bonette, it is the highest summit the cyclists have ever passed in this race. Source Wikipedia
