Beschrijving

Eyserbosweg is a street near the Dutch village of Eys (province of Limburg) ). The sloping street runs northwest of the village in a northeasterly direction, towards the plateau where the lesser Eyserweg also ends. On this street is the Eyserbos (hence the name) and the television tower (radio and television mast) of Eys, the transmitter mast Eys .

In cycling, it is one of the trickiest climbs in South Limburg. The street is 1020 metres long and is 90 metres high. The slope has an average climb rate of 8.8%, with a maximum climb rate of 16.2%.

This hill has been featured several times in the Amstel Gold Race and the Tour of the Netherlands. In the 2002 Amstel Gold Race, Michael Boogerd started his advance on this slope. This would have been at the level of a bench beside the road.

In 2014, the road was part of the 7th stage of the Eneco Tour . Source Wikipedia
